  Mulberry Muffins Muffins and cupcakes are kids all time favorite to bake. I love baking at all times and this is the recipe which I tried today and of course the muffins came out soft and spongy. Baking is always been a stress buster for me. Try this recipe and I can guarantee that it will not disappoint you in anyway. Ingredients: 🍰  Maida / All purpose flour-1 cup   🍰 Eggs -2 🍰 Sugar- 3/4 cup 🍰 Butter- 100grams (salted) 🍰 Baking powder- 1tsp 🍰 Milk- 1/4 cup 🍰  Vanilla essence- 2tsp 🍰 Mala's mulberry crush - as per your taste How to make ?? 🍰 Beat the butter well in a large bowl with a whisk 🍰 Add sugar and whisk until well combined 🍰 Add eggs one by one and mix well 🍰 Sift and add maida and baking powder  into the butter sugar mixture 🍰 Fold everything slowly until maida is combined with the rest of the ingredients 🍰 Add milk  🍰 Add vanilla essence and fold the mixture 🍰 Muffin batter is ready 🍰 Preheat oven at 175c for 10minutes 🍰 Fill the muffin cups with 3

Chana Briyani

Chana Briyani ?? 

Chana Briyani is a easy to do meal for a lunch. It is a protein and fibre rich recipe. 
Chana Briyani with raita is a good combo. Follow the measurements and you will get a perfect grained chana briyani. 


From the store ?? 
  • Chana or chickpeas 1/2 cup boiled 
  • Oil 4 tblspn
  • Pandan leaves 
  • Cinnamon 2 pieces
  • Cardamom 1
  • Onion 2 chopped 
  • Tomato 2 chopped 
  • Green chillies 3 to 4 
  • Coriander leaves 1/2 hand
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tblspn
  • Curd 1 tblspn ( optional )
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • Chill powder 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste 
  • Lemon juice 1/4 th 
  • Water 2 cups  
  • Basmati rice 1 cup
In the kitchen ?? 
  • Soak chickpeas in water over night. Pressure cook it for 15 whistles and keep it ready

  • Clean and soak basmati rice for 1/2 hour 

  • Heat oil in a cooker. Add pandan leaves, cardamom, cinnamon

  • Add onions and saute till it's colour changes 

  • Add ginger garlic paste . Saute till the raw smell disappears

  • Add coriander leaves 

  • Add tomatoes and green chillies and saute for 2 minutes

  • Add masalas and mix well 

  • Add curd 


  • Briyani masala is ready 

  • Add boiled chana or chick Peas and mix well with the masalas


  • Add water. Here , I have used 1/4 cup boiled chana water and remaining normal water


  • Let the water come to a boil. Add salt. 
  • Add basmati rice and add drops of lemon juice

  • Cook the rice for  3 whistles 
  • Serve hot with raita !! 


Notes ?? 
  • Adding curd makes the rice soft 
  • Adding garam masala is optional
  • You can increase the quantity of chana as per your requirement
