  Mulberry Muffins Muffins and cupcakes are kids all time favorite to bake. I love baking at all times and this is the recipe which I tried today and of course the muffins came out soft and spongy. Baking is always been a stress buster for me. Try this recipe and I can guarantee that it will not disappoint you in anyway. Ingredients: 🍰  Maida / All purpose flour-1 cup   🍰 Eggs -2 🍰 Sugar- 3/4 cup 🍰 Butter- 100grams (salted) 🍰 Baking powder- 1tsp 🍰 Milk- 1/4 cup 🍰  Vanilla essence- 2tsp 🍰 Mala's mulberry crush - as per your taste How to make ?? 🍰 Beat the butter well in a large bowl with a whisk 🍰 Add sugar and whisk until well combined 🍰 Add eggs one by one and mix well 🍰 Sift and add maida and baking powder  into the butter sugar mixture 🍰 Fold everything slowly until maida is combined with the rest of the ingredients 🍰 Add milk  🍰 Add vanilla essence and fold the mixture 🍰 Muffin batter is ready 🍰 Preheat oven at 175c for 10minutes 🍰 Fill the muffin cups with 3

Egg Semiya Upma ??  Semiya Upma is a common recipe in south Indian households for breakfasts and dinner. The method is easy so that it can be cooked during lazy days and also tastes good. This recipe can also be altered to your taste by adding veggies of your choice.. Oil 3 tblspn Onions 1 small size finely chopped Green chillies 2 Ginger garlic paste 1 tblspn Tomato 1 small size finely chopped Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp Red Chilli powder 1 tsp Salt to taste  Water 1.5 cups Coconut milk 1/2 cup Semiya 1 cup Eggs 2    In the kitchen ??  Heat oil in a pan and add onions. Let them turn transparent  Add green chillies and ginger garlic paste. Saute for a minute Add in the tomatoes and the masalas , salt  Add water and coconut milk. Let it boil Add Semiya and cook till it's done. It may take upto 5 minutes Add in the eggs one by one. Cook till egg is done  Mix

They are known to lower cholesterol and blood sugar levels.  This recipe of mulberry Milkshake is made with Mala's Mulberry Crush that is available in the markets.  Do try this and share your feedback in the comments section. Queries can be mailed.   Let's get started!!  From the store ??  Milk 2 cups boiled Sugar 4 tblspn Mulberry crush 2 to 3 tblspn  In the kitchen ??  In a large glass, add mulberry crush , sugar and 1/4 cup of boiled milk and blend them well  Add the remaining milk and mix it  Serve chill !!   Notes ??  If you don't have an electric blender, you can use mixie to blend  Ice cubes and icecream can also be added to make it extra creamy and thick !! Nungu paal sarbath ( Ice apple sarbath )

Nungu paal sarbath ?  We are in the season of Nungu ( ice apple ). This is a refreshing drink for summer days. Ice apple helps prevent dehydration which could be a prominent health issue during summer.  We can make this sarbath in different flavours as our wish. Here I have tried pista and nannai Nungu paal.  Do try this recipe and beat the heat this summer !!  From the store ??  Milk 2 cups Sugar 1/4 cup Nungu/Ice apple 8 Nannari syrup 1/2 tsp Pista syrup 1/4 tsp In the kitchen ?? Boil the milk. Add sugar and let it cool down for half an hour  Blend three Nungu in a blender and keep it ready  Add blended Nungu in milk and mix well  In a large glass, add 4 spoons of nungu pieces, pista syrup and milk. Pista Nungu sarbath is ready to be served In a large glass, add 4 spoons of Nungu pieces, nannari syrup and milk. Prawn Thokku ??  Prawn Thokku will surely be your favourite if you like prawns the most. The prawns mixed with onion tomato base and spicces give them a very good taste. You can increase or decrease the amount of spices as your wish.  Prawn thokku is an easy to try recipe even during busy days.  I got this recipe from Venkatesh Bhat's samayal samayal program in Vijay television. This became one of my signature recipes.  Do try and enjoy !!    From the store ??  Prawns 250g cleaned  Coconut Oil 4 tblspn   Onion 2 medium chopped Tomato 2 medium chopped Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp Chilli powder 1 tsp Pepper powder 1/2 tsp Curry leaves Salt to taste  In the kitchen ??   Heat oil in a vessel and add onions. Let them turn transparent. It may take 4 to 5 minutes Add ginger garlic paste. Let the raw smell disappear Add tomato and cook well for 5 minutes  Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt Add water and let it boil for 5 minutes Add prawns and cook for 2 minutes Add curry leaves an

Mango Bread Kulfi

Mango Bread Kulfi?? Kulfis and icecreams are everyone's all time favourite and that is more demanding in summers.  We , Indians are in the season of mangoes and this recipe is a must try to beat summer. Do try this creamy bread kulfi in the flavour of mangoes and enjoy!!  From the store ??  Milk 1 cup Sugar 1/4 cup Mango 1 small pureed Milk powder 2 tblspn Cardamom powder a pinch Bread slices 2  In the kitchen ?? Cut the sides of the bread and powder it in a blender Boil milk in a pan.  Once it's boiled, simmer the flame and add bread, sugar, milk powder , cardamom powder Let it become thick for 5 minutes. Switch off the flame  Let it cool down for some time  Puree the mangoes  Add mango puree to the milk bread mixture and mix well Pour the mixture in a mould and garnish with cashews  Freeze it for 8 to 12 hours Serve !!  Do follow for more recipes!!
